The opportunity around the game matters too.
Sports can reveal an entire working economy, not only a path to becoming an athlete.
A gym, team, court, tournament, or training program contains more work than what happens during the game. Coaching, media, photography, events, operations, wellness, statistics, sponsorship, design, and content all create real roles.
For a young person who already cares about sports, that surrounding economy can become the bridge from interest to useful experience.
Beyond the Game
The point is not to create another league. It is to help people see the work that already exists around something they care about, then make a real introduction to it.
